We are seeking an experienced CT Scan Technologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Hackensack, NJ. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with all regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
Perform routine and advanced CT imaging procedures.
Review physician orders, patient history, and imaging protocols.
Administer contrast media and perform venipuncture/IV procedures as required.
Operate CT imaging equipment and related software efficiently.
Ensure image quality and accurate documentation in PACS.
Follow radiation safety guidelines and departmental protocols.
Provide excellent patient care and maintain professional communication.
Participate in on-call, holiday, and weekend coverage as needed.
Required Qualifications
CT Technologist experience.
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
High School Diploma or GED.
NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License.
ARRT R.T.(R) Certification.
American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, radiographic positioning, and CT procedures.
Experience with PACS systems.
Experience administering contrast media, venipuncture, and IV procedures.
Ability to perform complex CT examinations independently.
