Job Title: CT Scan Technologist (CWR) – Night Shift

Location: Neptune, NJ 07754
Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule

  • Night Shift: Wednesday – Saturday

  • Shift Timing: 9:30 PM – 8:00 AM

  • 4 x 10 Hour Shifts

  • Total Weekly Hours: 40 Hours

  • Weekend Requirement: Every Saturday

  • Holiday Requirement: 1 Holiday Required

  • No On-Call Requirement

  • No Float Requirement

We are seeking an experienced CT Scan Technologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Neptune, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will perform advanced CT imaging procedures, assist with interventional and therapeutic procedures, and deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform complex CT scan procedures and produce high-quality diagnostic images

  • Review and obtain patient clinical history and ensure proper documentation in PACS and EPIC

  • Prepare and verify contrast questionnaires with patients and family members

  • Administer contrast media as prescribed by licensed practitioners

  • Verify imaging orders and communicate with radiologists or physicians when clarification is needed

  • Evaluate radiographs for image quality and diagnostic value using PACS

  • Prepare patients for scans including positioning, shielding, and immobilization

  • Perform venipuncture, IV patency checks, and contrast administration safely

  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions during procedures

  • Provide clear instructions and education regarding imaging procedures

  • Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and patient care guidelines

  • Assist with obtaining outside imaging studies and scheduling coordination in EPIC

  • Maintain accurate records and support departmental workflow efficiency

  • Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as required

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Active NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License required

  • ARRT Certified R.T. (R) Certification required

  • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification required

  • Minimum 3 years of CT Technologist experience required

  • Strong patient care and communication skills

  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, CT imaging equipment, and PACS systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • ARRT Certified R.T. (CT) Certification preferred

  • Trauma Level 1 experience preferred

  • Experience with EPIC or other HIS/RIS systems preferred

  • 5+ years of CT experience preferred
