Pay Rate
Local: $78.00 - $81.00/hour
Traveler: $80.00 - $85.00/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CT Scan Technologist to perform general CT, CTA, and perfusion studies while providing safe, accurate, and patient-centered diagnostic imaging.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CT Technologist experience
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• Active NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License
• ARRT R.T.(R) certification
• AHA BLS certification
• Strong knowledge of CT equipment, software, hardware, anatomy, and positioning
• PACS knowledge
• Experience with general CT with and without contrast, CTAs, and perfusion
• Experience with Revolution CT scanner
• Venipuncture and IV maintenance experience
• Ability to administer contrast media
• English proficiency
• Ability to meet physical requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• ARRT R.T.(CT) certification
• EPIC experience

Responsibilities

• Perform complex CT procedures and produce sectional and 3D images
• Review clinical history and determine appropriate CT protocols
• Prepare and document contrast questionnaires in EPIC
• Determine and administer contrast media
• Perform general CT, CTA, and perfusion studies
• Evaluate images in PACS
• Prepare and position patients
• Perform venipuncture and maintain IV access
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions
• Explain procedures and address patient concerns
• Coordinate outside imaging for comparison
• Maintain EPIC and PACS documentation
• Provide patient-centered care
• Maintain CEU requirements
• Participate in scheduled weekend shifts and optional on-call assignments
