Responsibilities:
OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY
Performs special procedures and duties of a Computed Tomography Technologist. Operates special procedures equipment and assists physician during special procedures. Operates Computer Tomography (CT) unit independently.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED
Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
Registered CT Technologist from ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT)
Registered Radiology Technologist (ARRT).
Must hold Certification in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
PREFERRED
Prior experience in Computerized Tomography (CT) scanning.
Advanced knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy.
Ability to insert intravenous catheter.
Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians and other personnel.
