Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist (CT Tech) to join a high-performing diagnostic imaging team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of CT experience, strong knowledge of stroke imaging protocols, and hands-on experience with Stroke Perfusion CT studies. Candidates should be proficient with Philips CT scanners and EPIC EMR.

This is an excellent contract opportunity with the potential to transition into a permanent position upon successful completion of the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT examinations in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Conduct routine, emergency, trauma, and advanced CT imaging, including Stroke Perfusion studies.
• Operate Philips CT scanners safely and efficiently.
• Prepare, position, and monitor patients during imaging procedures.
• Administer contrast media in accordance with facility policies (if applicable).
• Accurately document imaging procedures using EPIC EMR.
• Ensure patient safety while maintaining radiation protection standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Perform quality assurance and routine equipment checks.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 5 years of recent CT Technologist experience.
• ARRT (CT) Registry required.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification.
• Stroke Perfusion CT experience is required.
• Experience operating Philips CT equipment.
• Experience using EPIC EMR preferred.
• Strong communication, patient care, and critical thinking skills.
