Job Requirements

• Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; certification in Radiation Technology or related field.
• Certifications Requirements: ARRT (CT), BLS.
• Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of radiologic technology experience; previous travel experience preferred.
• Other Requirements: Ability to operate GE imaging equipment; comfortable working in a fast-paced trauma stroke environment; excellent communication skills; proficiency with EPIC, Alaris, Pyxis systems; physical ability to stand for extended periods.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate GE imaging equipment for CT scans in a high-volume trauma and stroke center.
• Assess patient conditions and gather pertinent clinical information to ensure accurate imaging procedures.
• Maintain safety protocols and adhere to infection control standards across all imaging activities.
• Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to deliver timely and precise diagnostic results.
• Document procedures accurately in the EPIC system and manage equipment and supplies efficiently.
