Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

Schedule: 30 Guaranteed Hours/Week

Work Schedule: Every Thursday & Friday plus Every Other Weekend

Position Type: Travel/Contract

We are seeking an experienced professional for a 13-week contract assignment with Inspira Medical Centers. The selected candidate will perform high-quality computerized tomography (CT) imaging procedures while delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced imaging department.

This position requires flexibility to float between the Elmer and Bridgeton locations and experience working in a high-volume environment utilizing Epic EMR.

Department Highlights

• Approximately 125 CT scans performed daily
• 2 CT Scanners
• CT Tech Aides available 24/7
• DNV Certified Stroke Center
• ACR Accredited Imaging Department
• Collaborative and supportive imaging team

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures as ordered by licensed physicians.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images following established protocols.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during examinations.
• Accurately document imaging procedures using Epic EMR.
• Verify physician orders and patient history prior to imaging.
• Follow radiation safety and infection prevention guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain imaging equipment and ensure quality control standards are met.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of CT Technologist experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• Current ARRT Certification
• CT Certification
• Active New Jersey DEP License
• Current BLS (AHA) Certification
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to float between Elmer and Bridgeton locations

Preferred Qualifications

• Emergency Department CT experience
• Experience in a high-volume acute care imaging department

Assignment Details

• 13-Week Contract
• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Every Thursday & Friday plus Every Other Weekend
• Guaranteed 30 Hours/Week
• Maximum 3 RTO days
• Scrub Color: Black
• Floating required between Elmer and Bridgeton facilities

Orientation Requirements

• Completion of all orientation activities is mandatory.
• Virtual New Employee Orientation and HealthStream modules must be completed on the assigned schedule.
• In-person classes are required during orientation week.
• Badge appointment must be completed before working independently.
• Failure to complete orientation requirements will result in immediate termination.
