Title: CT Tech

Location: Kenosha Wisconsin 53142

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Rotating (See Notes) (36)

Shift Information: 3rd shift; 7 days on-7 days off rotation (see notes in job description)

Clinical Interviewing- Yes, with manager giving final approval.

On Call, Call Back Requirements: None

Weekend Rotation: Included in rotational schedule--working e/o weekend

Holiday Requirements: As needed

Floating Requirements: None

3rd shift; 7 days on-7 days off rotation
Starts on Thursday running through next Wednesday
Thursday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday hours: 2030-0630 (8:30pm-6:30am)
Friday, Saturday, Sunday hours: 1900-0700 (7pm-7am)

Works independently in CT with support of an X-ray tech onsite, tranports patients to/from exam
CT Canon (Toshiba) experience > 2 years; hospital scanner is 80 slice
Medrad Stellant injector experience > 2years
EPIC experience

Patient Types: Inpatient/Outpatient/ED patients in need of CT services

Patient Ratios: 1:1

Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT (CT registered)

Skills required :

• Basic CT principles and practices
• peripheral IV starts w/IV contrast injection skills
• good communication and interpersonal skills
• Canon/Toshiba 40 & 80 slice scanners, depending on time-frame need experience on this equipment is beneficial

Support on the Unit: Department Supervisor

Charting System/Equipment:

• EPIC (Must Have)
• Canon/Toshiba 40 & 80 slice scanners, depending on time-frame need experience on this equipment is beneficial

Orientation: At least one shift to learn flow
