CT Technologist (Full‑Time, Day Shift | 0.9 FTE)

Locations: Vancouver Heights Imaging (Outpatient) + PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center (Level II Trauma Center), Vancouver, WA

Schedule: Thursday through Sunday, 0700-1630

What You'll Do

  • Greet patients. Listen first. Explain each step in plain language.
  • Review orders. Confirm history. Choose the right protocol for the patient.
  • Start IVs and manage contrast safely. Monitor patients closely.
  • Perform CT scans with precision. Minimize repeats.
  • Apply ALARA every time. Confirm pregnancy status when indicated.
  • Coach newer team members. Share best practices that reduce dose and repeats.

What You Bring

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT (R), ARRT(N), or ARRT (CT) required at hire; ARRT (CT) within 1 year.
  • Advanced ARRT (CT) via Advanced Nuclear Medicine pathway is acceptable; ARRT (R) would not be required with that pathway.
  • Washington Radiologic Technologist license by date of hire.
  • BLS (AHA or American Red Cross).
  • Venipuncture competency and safe contrast administration.
  • Comfort with imaging systems (PACS/RIS) and clear documentation.

Working Conditions: This role requires frequent standing, walking, reaching and the use of fine motor skills while operating medical equipment. The ability to lift up to 15 lbs. frequently and up to 30 lbs. occasionally. May involve patient handling, exposure to biohazards and airborne particles, and requires the ability to communicate effectively with normal vision and hearing (with reasonable accommodations).
