Title: CT Technologist Location: Fairfield, CA Shift: Tues-Thurs at 0800-1630, Fri- Sat 2300-0730 (40 hours weekly) Pay - Open to Discuss (Best in Market) Duties: 1. Performs C/T examinations in accordance to established protocols. 2. Assists and instructs patients prior and during examinations. 3. Responsible for evaluating each study to ensure it meets required quality standards. 4. Responsible for patient safety and well-being during examinations. 5. Responsible for inspecting and cleaning equipment prior to use. 6. Reports to radiology supervisor all equipment failures and/or malfunctions. 7. Reports all patient complaints, discrepancies and drug reactions according to Q.A. policies. 8. Responsible for processing images, organizing paper work and completing charges. 9. Works in other areas of the department such as radiology, ultrasound, etc. 10. Organizational standards for Joint Commission, Patient Safety and the Department of Heath will be met or exceeded. 11. Takes call or stand-by when required. 12. Performs other duties as required. Skills: Some clerical and computer experience.
