Schedule:
Day shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Tue- Thus), 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Fri – Sat)
Weekends: 3 PM -11: 30pm
All shifts are 8-hour shifts ( 40 hrs - 8 x5)
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a fast-paced diagnostic imaging team in Fairfield, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality CT examinations while ensuring patient safety, imaging accuracy, and compliance with departmental and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities- Perform CT examinations in accordance with established imaging protocols.
- Assist and instruct patients before and during examinations.
- Evaluate imaging studies to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
- Inspect and clean imaging equipment prior to use.
- Report equipment failures or malfunctions to the Radiology Supervisor.
- Report patient complaints, discrepancies, and adverse drug reactions according to QA policies.
- Process images, organize paperwork, and complete required charge documentation.
- Support other imaging areas as needed, including Radiology and Ultrasound.
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, Patient Safety, and Department of Health standards.
- Participate in call or standby coverage when required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications- Two or more years of experience in General Radiology.
- At least one year of CT experience required.
- Some clerical and computer experience preferred.
