Responsibility Summary:
Under the direction of the CT Supervisor, performs with minimal supervision a diversity of technical radiographic CT assignments, diagnostic, and complex in nature, which require theoretical insight and experience. Exercises complex skill judgment and knowledge of the principles and methods of the radiographic technical field. The CT Technologist shall have the ability to provide care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Call may be required.
Education:
Minimum AAS degree in Radiologic Technology or Radiology Technology in an AMA-approved school.
Preferred: Registered CT specialist or one year additional training at an AMA-approved school in CT.
License:
License: NYS license
Certifications Required:
ARRT
Certifications Preferred:
ARRT certification in CT
Experience:
Minimum: One or more years of Radiologic Technology experience.
Salary Range: $37.96 - $42.78
