Responsibilities:Under the leadership of the Supervisor of Medical Imaging and working at the direction of the Radiology Manager, the CT Tech II provides prompt, efficient, courteous services to patients while performing high-quality CT exams. This individual must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. They must also have the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements and provide the care needed. This position requires performing diagnostic x-rays as needed.

Cobleskill Regional Hospital has made keeping up with changing medical technology a top priority. In 2014 - 2015, major enhancements were made to the Hospital's Emergency Department which resulted in an expanded number of treatment rooms, Medical Imaging technologies continue to be a primary focus with the addition of a low-dose, 64-slice CT scanner made possible in part by a federal appropriation secured by Congressman Paul Tonko and awarded through a U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration HCOF grant.
In 1994, the Community Hospital of Schoharie County, became affiliated with Bassett Healthcare, and took the name Bassett Hospital of Schoharie County. This partnership opened the door for a more collaborative approach to healthcare delivery for residents of the Schoharie County region. In 2007, the name changed to Cobleskill Regional Hospital, affiliated with Bassett Healthcare Network, to better reflect the hospital's community-based identity and regional presence.
