Pay: $60 -$70 PER HOUR

Job Summary:


The CT Technologist performs diagnostic computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols. The technologist ensures high-quality images, prioritizes patient safety, and maintains compliance with all regulatory and hospital standards. This is a Day/night time positionwith flexible scheduling based on departmental needs.
 
  • Need for CT TECH Day/Night
  • MUST HAVE HAVE CT LICENSE UP TO DATE & RELEVANT EXPERIENCE. 
  • The CT Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality images. 
  • The CT Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. 
  • Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS. 
Qualifications


  • Education and Work Experience minimum 2 year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred. 
  • Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment is required. 
  • Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required. 
  • Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT. 
  • Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State Effective 07/01/2015, CT ARRT Certification is required. 
  • Must maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire. Proficient computer skills.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Perform CT imaging procedures using proper technique and patient positioning.
  • Verify patient identification and physician orders prior to exam.
  • Prepare and administer contrast materials safely and effectively under supervision and per protocol.
  • Monitor patients during procedures to ensure comfort and safety.
  • Evaluate images for technical quality and submit for interpretation.
  • Maintain accurate patient and procedure documentation in PACS/RIS systems.
  • Follow radiation safety standards and infection control procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Maintain equipment in good working condition and report any malfunctions promptly.
  • Participate in continuing education and maintain required certifications.
