What Youll Do
- Operate CT equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures for adult and pediatric patients
- Work independently within a Level III Trauma Center ED setting on night shifts
- Prepare patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to obtain high-quality images
- Maintain safety protocols and ensure equipment calibration and maintenance
- Document procedures accurately and manage patient records with PACS and electronic systems
- Assist with contrast administration, biopsies, and other advanced imaging procedures as needed
What You Need
- Valid ARRT CT certification and BLS certification required
- Prior experience in inpatient, ER, ICU, or trauma settings preferred
- Strong technical skills in multislice CT imaging and a working knowledge of GE scanners and Cerner systems
- Ability to work independently and handle a busy caseload of approximately 160 cases daily
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
