Job Summary

As a CT Technologist, you will perform CT exams that support fast, accurate diagnosis while delivering calm, compassionate care to every patient you serve.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare the CT room for each exam.
  • Set up supplies and equipment for the planned procedure.
  • Review patient history and prior imaging before the scan.
  • Choose the correct exam based on the patient's condition.
  • Partner with radiologists and providers when questions arise.
  • Explain the exam clearly to each patient.
  • Support patients before, during, and after imaging.
  • Adjust the exam if patient needs change.
  • Operate the CT scanner safely and accurately.
  • Check image quality before completing the exam.
  • Follow radiation safety standards at all times.
  • Screen patients for pregnancy when required.
  • Start IVs and perform venipuncture as needed.
  • Complete interventional CT procedures when assigned.
  • Document exams accurately in PACS and RIS.
  • Help train students or staff when requested.
  • Perform other duties within your scope of practice.

What We're Looking For

Education

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (required)

Experience

  • Experienced CT Techs with at least 1 year of experience highly preferred. This is not a cross-training opportunity.
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Strong understanding of age‑specific patient care
  • Proven venipuncture skills
  • Experience using PACS and RIS systems
  • EPIC RIS, FUJI, or IntelliSpace PACS experience preferred

Licenses & Certifications

  • ARRT in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or Computed Tomography
  • ARRT CT certification highly preferred at hire; required within 1 year of hire
  • Washington State Radiologic Technologist license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire
