Location:Syracuse, New York
Shift: Night Shift – 5x8 Hours (11:00 PM – 07:30 AM)
Schedule: Monday through Friday with rotational weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Syracuse, New York. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality CT and radiographic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, compliance, and exceptional patient care in a clinical setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT and radiographic examinations under the direction of radiologists
- Prepare, position, and educate patients prior to imaging procedures
- Operate CT and imaging equipment efficiently to obtain quality diagnostic studies
- Ensure radiation safety and protection standards are maintained
- Input patient and exam information into the Radiology Information System for documentation and billing
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions promptly
- Follow departmental procedures, imaging protocols, and safety guidelines
- Provide compassionate patient care throughout imaging procedures
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent required
- Current New York State Radiologic Technologist license/registration required
- Minimum 1 year of CT/MRI experience required
- Strong understanding of CT imaging procedures and radiation safety standards
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance required
