Schedule Details/Additional Information:
Second shift 2:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., Monday through Friday, alternating weekends
Pay Range: $35.50 - $53.25
Major Responsibilities:
Customer Satisfaction: 1) Serves as a patient advocate to ensure that patients and customers needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. 2) Ensures timely scheduling of both inpatients and outpatients. 3) Provides education to all patients before, during, and after exams. 4) Maintains a positive relationship with all customers, i.e., patients, other departments, physicians, and fellow associates. 5) Reviews patient satisfaction data and participates in improving areas of concern. 6) Utilizes appropriate resources to resolve patient irritants. 7) Addresses and resolves customer complaints. 8) Ensures on-time completion of own performance pathway. 9) Participates quarterly in the associate satisfaction survey. 10) Submits ideas on improving customer satisfaction on a continual basis.
Quality: 1) Accountable for the production of quality CT scans. 2) Demonstrates the appropriate operation of all CT equipment. 3) Demonstrates safety in all areas, electrical, environmental, radiation, etc. 4) Ensures all appropriate information is present before CT exams are performed. 5) Completes all data entries in the HIS and RIS. 6) Participates in efforts to monitor and improve departmental CQI indicators. 7) Submits ideas for improving quality in the department.
Assesses own learning needs, seeks appropriate training and development: 1) Sets own learning goals. 2) Maintains a program to complete required training hours per quarter.
Innovation: 1) Submits dynamite ideas to your leader. 2) Implements Just-Do-It initiatives in your department during the year.
