Position Summary: The CT Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures, supports patient care, and works closely with radiologists and technologists to ensure high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of CT diagnostic imaging procedures following department standards.
- Use age-specific criteria to ensure safe and appropriate testing.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, medical staff, and the public.
- Support quality control, performance improvement, and department goals.
- Act as a clinical and technical resource to radiologists and other technologists.
- Participate in call schedules, flexible work shifts, and department staffing needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- California Radiologic Technologist license (upon hire).
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (upon hire).
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R) (upon hire).
- ARRT certification in CT (Computed Tomography) within 1 year of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience performing CT scans in a hospital or outpatient imaging center.
- Experience with both pediatric and adult patients.
