A CT Technologist opportunity is available at a 558-bed acute care facility in Atlantis, FL — a Joint Commission certified Primary Stroke Center, American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center, certified Ventricular Assist Device program, and American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer accredited Comprehensive Community Cancer Program offering emergency services, cardiovascular care, neurosciences, robotic surgery, orthopedic and spine care, bariatrics, behavioral health, and obstetrics.

The role. The CT Technologist operates CT scan equipment in inpatient and outpatient settings to produce diagnostic-quality images used to detect pathology and abnormalities across a patient population ranging from newborn to geriatric. The technologist determines the most suitable anatomical positioning and shielding for each patient, obtains consent, prepares patients, and explains procedures prior to scanning. Collaboration with physicians and other imaging staff is a regular part of the role, as is the practice of aseptic and sterile technique and adherence to infection control measures specific to the CT department. Accurate documentation is completed immediately following each case.

What we're looking for.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Imaging
  • One year of experience in performing CT preferred
  • Florida State DOH General Radiographer and ARRT CT Registry or registry eligible and acquire within six months of hire

Schedule. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 11: 00 a.m. to 11: 00 p.m.

Compensation. $30.34 - $42.47/hr plus $20, 000 sign-on bonus
