Job Description:

SCOPE: Under general supervision, is responsible for the coordination and administration diagnostic and radiation therapy CT exams; ensures patient safety, technical quality and timely transfer of data; fabricates any necessary immobilization devices prior to scan as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Perform CT scans for routine radiologic exams.

Perform CT scans for radiation treatment planning purposes.

Perform X-Ray scans for diagnostic use Perform Panorex for dental clinic.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of an AMA accredited program in radiologic technology.

2 years experience as radiological technologist. CT experience preferred.

Registered by ARRT with current License by the state of Louisiana, CRP
