Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Bronx, NY
Type: Contract
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 30 Hours Per Week | 8:00 AM – 12:00 AM | Double Shifts on Saturday & Sunday
Pay Rate: $2,810.00 – $2,960.00 per week (Based on Experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform computed tomography examinations, produce high-quality diagnostic images, and provide exceptional patient care while maintaining compliance with departmental and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT examinations using appropriate imaging protocols to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

  • Prepare and position patients for CT procedures, explain the examination process, and verify patient history prior to imaging.

  • Operate CT imaging equipment, administer contrast media as authorized, and monitor patients throughout imaging procedures.

  • Evaluate image quality, ensure accurate image acquisition, and maintain complete patient documentation.

  • Follow radiation safety, infection control, and departmental policies while maintaining a safe clinical environment.

  • Perform routine equipment checks, report equipment issues, and maintain imaging supplies to support efficient department operations.

  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and the healthcare team to ensure timely, accurate diagnostic services and quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of CT Technologist experience.

  • Experience operating relevant CT imaging equipment.

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist training program or equivalent Military training.

  • Valid New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) Radiologic Technologist License with Diagnostic Injection authorization, or a valid NYSDOH license as a Radiologic Technologist, Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or Radiation Therapist.

  • Post-primary Computed Tomography certification issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
