Location: 450 Northside Cherokee Boulevard, Canton, GA 30115

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Schedule: Night Shift – 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Days: Tuesday–Friday (4x10s)
Hours: 40 hours per week

Department: 723C CT Imaging – CT Tech

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience
• ARRT Certification required
• AHA BLS Certification required
• Cerner experience required
• No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility

Job Summary

The CT Technologist performs computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The technologist is responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with departmental protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment safely and effectively
• Ensure high-quality diagnostic images are obtained for interpretation
• Verify patient information and explain procedures to patients
• Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond appropriately to their needs
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control guidelines
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in Cerner
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare team members to provide quality patient care

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience
• ARRT certification in Radiography/Computed Tomography
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Experience using Cerner electronic medical record system
• Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures, patient care, and radiation safety practices

Additional Information

• 13-week travel assignment
• Night shift schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 9:00 PM–7:30 AM
• 40 hours per week
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this assignment.
