Immediate need for a talented CT Technologist (Computed Tomography). This is a 13 weeks contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Atlanta, GA(Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $65 - $70/hour. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule: Night shifts – Weekend block (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7:00pm – 7:30am) – 36 hours expected per week.
  • Perform CT examinations on trauma, stroke, burn, and general inpatient/outpatient populations following established protocols.
  • Operate GE scanners (both older platform and Revolution scanner platform) to acquire diagnostic images.
  • Administer IV contrast media as needed; monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, emergency physicians, and trauma teams to prioritize urgent studies.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and image archiving in EPIC EMR and PACS.
  • Practice radiation safety and ALARA principles; ensure proper shielding and technique.
  • Assist with scanner quality control, maintenance, and supply inventory as needed.
  • Respond to Level 1 trauma activations with speed and precision.
  • Work collaboratively within a weekend shift team (typically 4–6 techs) across 3 scanners in ECC, 2 for inpatient, and 1 on the neuro floor used overnight.
  • Consistent weekend night shifts (Friday–Sunday, 7pm–7:30am) with guaranteed 36 hours per week
  • Opportunity to work in a Level 1 Trauma center with stroke and burn services

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • Must have skills:  CT Technologist, ARRT, Computed Tomography, Level 1 Trauma, GE Scanners, EPIC, BLS.
  • Active ARRT certification (required)
  • ARRT (CT) certification (preferred)
  • AHA BLS certification (required)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience in CT technology, preferably in a Level 1 trauma or high acuity setting
  • Proficiency with GE scanners (both older and Revolution platforms)
  • Experience with EPIC EMR system
  • Ability to work night shifts – weekend block (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7:00pm – 7:30am), 36 hours guaranteed per week
  • Both local and travel candidates considered – local candidates eligible to apply
  • Strong knowledge of contrast administration, IV placement, and emergency response
  • Excellent patient positioning, scanning technique, and image quality assessment
  • Proficiency in trauma, stroke, and burn imaging protocols
  • Strong IV skills and contrast reaction recognition/management
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a weekend team in a fast paced environment
  • Effective communication with emergency and trauma teams
  • Commitment to patient safety and radiation protection
