CT Technologist - Contract

Job Title: CT Technologist

Duration: 13 Weeks
Facility: Northside Snellville Imaging
Location: 1606 Tree Lane, Building 400, Snellville, GA 30078

Schedule: Days | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM | 4x10-Hour Shifts | 40 Hours/Week (Alternating Monday or Friday off)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience required.
• Current ARRT (CT) certification required.
• Current AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Proficiency in performing a wide range of CT imaging procedures in an outpatient imaging setting.
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety, contrast administration, and CT imaging protocols.
• Excellent patient care, communication, and technical skills.
• No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) examinations in accordance with physician orders and established imaging protocols.
• Prepare and position patients appropriately while explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Administer intravenous contrast media as indicated, monitoring patients for adverse reactions.
• Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment to produce accurate diagnostic images.
• Evaluate image quality and repeat scans when necessary to ensure optimal diagnostic results.
• Follow radiation safety practices and ALARA principles to minimize patient and staff exposure.
• Monitor patient condition during imaging procedures and respond appropriately to medical emergencies.
