Travel CT Technologist

Location: Northside Medical Center Imaging
2200 Medical Center Blvd, Suite G1, Lawrenceville, GA 30046

Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Days, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (4×10-Hour Shifts) – 40 Hours/Week
Department: 7213V Rad-2200 Outpatient Radiology – CT
Local Policy: No local candidates within 50 miles

Position Summary

Northside Medical Center Imaging is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have recent CT imaging experience and be proficient in performing high-quality diagnostic CT examinations while ensuring patient safety and comfort in an outpatient setting.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience
• Current ARRT (CT) Certification
• Current AHA BLS Certification

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans following physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Administer contrast media in accordance with facility policies and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality.
• Follow radiation safety standards and infection control guidelines.
• Accurately document procedures and patient information in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to provide timely diagnostic imaging services.

• Holiday Requirement: Travelers must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 of the 3 minor holidays (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
