Position: CT Technologist (CT Tech)

Location: New York, NY
Shift: Night Shift – 3x12 Hours (23:00 – 13:00)
Schedule: Rotating days (Sun–Tues / Thurs–Sat, including holidays)
Contract Duration: 9 Weeks (with possible extension)

Compensation

• Local Rate: $64–$71/hr (based on experience)

• Travel Rate: $71–$87/hr

Overview

Seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with CT systems, particularly GE or Apex scanners, and be proficient in contrast administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with clinical standards

• Operate CT scanners (GE/Apex preferred)

• Administer contrast media safely and effectively

• Ensure image quality and patient safety

• Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records

• Follow all departmental and regulatory guidelines

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required)

• Graduate of an accredited Radiography program (required)

• Active New York State Radiography License (required)

• NYS certification to administer contrast media (required)

• ARRT Certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography (required)

• Minimum 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience (required)

• Must maintain continuing education (CE) credits per ARRT guidelines

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with Apex CT scanner (preferred) or GE CT systems (required)

• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and patient positioning

• Experience with contrast-enhanced imaging
