We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to join our team. The candidate will operate computerized tomography (CT) and radiologic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role requires collaboration with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate and timely imaging results.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate CT and radiologic equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures
Prepare and position patients for CT scans and radiographic exams
Administer contrast media and monitor patients during procedures
Evaluate images and collaborate with radiologists to ensure quality results
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Assist with invasive procedures as required
Follow safety protocols and infection control standards
Perform additional radiology duties as assigned based on training and skill level
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
Certifications & Licensure:
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
Active Ohio Radiographer License required
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of Radiology/CT experience preferred
Ability to obtain CT Registry within one year of hire
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and radiologic equipment
Excellent communication skills with patients and healthcare teams
Ability to lift and position patients safely
Proficient in handling electronic medical records and imaging systems
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to respond to emergency situations, including CPR
