Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule: Weekend Night Shift

  • Saturday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

  • Sunday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Pay Rate: $60 – $77/hour (Depending on Experience)

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a weekend-only night shift assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong CT imaging experience, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform CT imaging procedures according to established protocols.

  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images using appropriate imaging techniques.

  • Perform daily quality control and equipment calibration checks.

  • Administer contrast materials and radiopharmaceuticals as ordered.

  • Follow radiation safety standards and ALARA principles.

  • Complete departmental documentation, logs, and reports.

  • Maintain imaging records for radiologist interpretation.

  • Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.

  • Troubleshoot and report equipment issues.

  • Ensure compliance with departmental and regulatory requirements.

  • Provide excellent patient care and communication.

Required Qualifications

Certifications & Licensure

  • New York State Licensed Radiologic Technologist (L.R.T.)

  • ARRT Certification

  • ARRT (CT) Certification

  • Current BLS Certification

Education

  • Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology.

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience.

  • Experience in acute care or diagnostic imaging settings.

  • Knowledge of radiation safety standards and ALARA principles.

  • Experience with quality assurance and quality control procedures.
