Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Milwaukie, OR
Duration: 13 Weeks (Potential Extension)
Shift: Mid Shift | 5x8-Hour Schedule (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)
Compensation: $2,300 – $2,800 Weekly (Based on Experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join a dynamic healthcare team in an acute care environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT imaging procedures, ensuring exceptional patient care, and producing high-quality images for physician interpretation while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.
- Operate CT imaging equipment safely and efficiently to obtain accurate, high-quality diagnostic images.
- Prepare, screen, and position patients appropriately for imaging procedures.
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy throughout all examinations.
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and ALARA principles.
- Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information within the electronic medical record system.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support quality patient care.
- Monitor equipment functionality and report operational concerns as needed.
- Maintain workflow efficiency in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Follow departmental policies, infection control procedures, and quality assurance standards.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Certifications & Licensure
- Active ARRT (R) certification required.
- CT credential preferred.
- Current BLS certification required.
Experience
- Minimum one (1) year of CT Technologist experience required.
- Acute care or hospital-based CT experience preferred.
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and protocols.
- Understanding of radiation safety and patient protection practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong critical thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
