Compensation
- Estimated Weekly Gross (Travel): From $3,000
- Local Rate: From $65/hour
Position Overview
A leading healthcare facility is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, high-quality imaging, and compliance with established radiology standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans using appropriate techniques (kV, mA) to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Conduct daily equipment calibration, quality control, and safety checks
- Administer contrast materials as per physician orders and imaging protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and compliance records
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and ALARA principles
- Manage patient imaging records and electronic data for radiologist review
- Assess and monitor patient condition before, during, and after procedures
- Ensure proper patient positioning and comfort throughout imaging procedures
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT Certification in Radiography and CT
- Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (LRT)
- BLS Certification required
