Job Title: CT Technologist

Location: Rochester, NY

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Night Shift | 4x10-Hour Shifts

Hours: 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Compensation:

  • Traveler Weekly Pay: $2,400 – $2,900/week
    Compensation based on experience and eligibility

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services within a fast-paced healthcare environment. The CT Tech will perform computed tomography procedures for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients while ensuring patient safety, imaging accuracy, and exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, experience with multiple CT imaging platforms, and the ability to work effectively during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT imaging procedures for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients
  • Operate CT imaging equipment including GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba systems
  • Prepare, position, and educate patients regarding imaging procedures
  • Administer contrast media safely and monitor patients for adverse reactions
  • Start peripheral IVs for contrast administration as needed
  • Ensure high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to radiation safety standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient records within the electronic medical record system
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams regarding patient care and imaging results
  • Follow infection control, patient safety, and departmental protocols at all times
  • Maintain imaging equipment readiness and report equipment concerns appropriately

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required
  • Current ARRT Certification required
  • Current BLS Certification required
  • EPIC charting experience required
  • Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and contrast administration
  • Excellent communication, patient care, and organizational skills required
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment during night shifts
