As a full-time CT Technologist I at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, you will have the opportunity to work 12-hour shifts with alternating weekends. The CT Technologist I, under direct supervision, uses computerized tomography scanners to produce cross-section images of patient's internal organs and tissues for diagnosis of medical issues.

Summary of Essential Duties:

  • Accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions
  • Administer contrast material
  • Prepare and operate CT scan equipment
  • Ability to position patient to capture appropriate images
  • Send images to Radiologist for interpretation/reading
  • Cleans and disinfects patient rooms
  • Follow infection control and safety guidelines

We are currently offering a $7500 sign-on bonus to newly hired Techs!

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology program required

Licensure/Certifications:

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiology certification (ARRT-R) required
  • California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification required
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists CT certification (ARRT-CT) preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required
  • Venipuncture certification required

Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist preferred
  • Applicants with 2 years + experience may be considered as a CT Tech II
