Job Summary: -This role performs a variety of computed tomography (CT) procedures. -Perform computed tomography techniques and examinations. -Conducts a variety of computed tomography (CT) procedures including biopsies, cardiac CT, and post-processing. -Produce computed tomography scans for diagnostic interpretation. -Operate CT equipment and select technical factors and positioning/safety devices. -Responsible for proper identification on images, including both identification and demographic information 100% of the time. -Document all related data. -Provide radiation protection for patients, families, staff, the general public and self. -Other responsibilities. -Identify, process, transfer and archive patient exams including exam records, images and patient demographics. -Maintain the integrity and security of the radiology information systems. -Resolve and escalate complex issues. -Subject to on-call status including weekends and holidays.

  • Hours per Week: 24–36 hours, based on operational needs
  • Shift: Weekends and overnight shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). One weekday shift may also be required based on departmental needs.

Required Skills & Experience: -Intermediate knowledge of computed tomography imaging. -Intermediate knowledge of picture archiving and communication systems (PACS). -Intermediate knowledge of radiology information systems. -Intermediate knowledge of HIPAA regulations. -Basic proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office) including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). -Excellent interpersonal skills. -Excellent time management skills. -Strong organizational skills. Preferred Skills & Experience: -N/A Required Education: -High school diploma or GED. Preferred Education: -N/A Required Certifications & Licensure: -Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); OR -Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
