Responsibilities


The Outpatient Imaging Center of St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center has an opportunity for a registered CT Technologist who can perform general and neuro CT imaging in all age groups. Using state-of-the-art multi-slice CT equipment, the CT technologist is responsible for producing quality diagnostic CT images and delivering excellent customer service. The successful candidate is a technically superior, experienced, self-starter with attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent patient care. A critical thinker, the CT technologist works with minimal supervision and closely with radiologists to perform CT imaging studies and procedures that aid in the diagnosis of disease.


Performs CT and/or radiographic exams, recommends improvement activities, and assists in equipment and procedure evaluations. Responsible for performing all aspects of general, neuro, and interventional CT and/or radiography in multiple settings on multiple patient types. Settings include but are not limited to the ED, OR, IR, inpatient and outpatient, with little or no supervision.


Located in Litchfield Park this position is critical to the success of St. Joseph's Hospital Medical Center and requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health.

Qualifications


Minimum:


+ Completion of approved American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or equivalent approved Radiologic Technologist Program.

+ Must hold and maintain AZ DHS Bureau of Special Licensing: (1) CRT - Certified Radiologic Technologist (CT CRT) and (2) CTCT - Certified Technologist/Computed Tomography (LIC CT).

+ Must hold and maintain national American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (CT ARRT): (1) RT - Radiologic Technologist and (2) CT - Computed Tomography.

+ American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers


Preferred:


+ Two years of CT experience
