Position Overview: This role involves conducting computerized tomographic examinations to assist in diagnosing illnesses and injuries, adhering to protocols set by radiologists. The candidate must be proficient in at least three of the following procedures: biopsy, TAVR, coronary interventions, Watchman procedures, extremity work for operating room planning, ablations, or fiducial placements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients accurately while selecting appropriate anatomical and technical parameters.
- Administer contrast media and/or medications in accordance with established practices and relevant regulations.
- Monitor patients during procedures and report any unusual activity; suggest updates or improvements to protocols as necessary.
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and guidelines.
- Maintain a vigilant and safe working environment.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: Completion of a program in Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine, or Radiation Therapy.
Experience: No prior experience is necessary.
