Overview:

Schedule: Variable schedule; 12-hour shifts

 

Position Summary: The CT Technologies performs diagnostic CT scans and general radiography (X-ray) examinations to obtain high-quality diagnostic images as ordered by the provider. Operates radiologic imaging equipment in accordance with established Radiology Department protocols while adhering to ALARA radiation safety standards. Demonstrates professionalism, technical competence, and a patient-centered approach at all times. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of specialized imaging procedures, including CT imaging, diagnostic radiography, contrast-enhanced studies, and related imaging techniques, ensuring accurate image acquisition and optimal patient care.


Minimum Qualifications:

 

Preferred:

  • 2+ years as a Radiology Technologist.
  • CT experience.

Education/Licensure/Certifications Required:

  • Licensed Radiology Technologist.
  • ARRT(CT), CRT, Fluoroscopy
  • CPR Card from the American Heart Association 
  • Satisfactory completion of approved radiology technology training/program.
Pay Scale Information: CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates who meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates who exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
