Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: NYC, NY
Duration: 03 months Contract
Schedule: 9:00A - 5:00P
Hourly rate: $68/hour on W2 (Negotiable)

Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
  • Cardiac CT experience required
  • Experience with the following CT equipment is required:
    • Client NAEOTOM Alpha Peak
    • Philips Brilliance iCT 256
Job Responsibilities
  • Perform CT procedures according to established protocols to ensure accurate, consistent, and high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Select appropriate kV and mA settings to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Perform daily quality control (QC) calibration checks to ensure equipment is functioning properly before patient exams.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals as ordered by the physician and according to established protocols.
  • Order patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses one day prior to scheduled procedures.
  • Receive and verify radiopharmaceutical deliveries, including confirming activity levels before administration.
  • Perform quality control, quality assurance, and safety testing while adhering to ALARA radiation safety principles.
  • Maintain patient imaging records and electronic data for radiologist interpretation.
  • Complete all required documentation, including logs, manuals, charge documentation, and equipment issue reports, in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Assess and respond appropriately to patient needs before, during, and after imaging procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Required Skills
  • Proficiency in performing CT procedures following established protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques, quality assurance, and radiation safety practices.
  • Ability to provide excellent patient care and exercise sound clinical judgment.
  • Experience performing Cardiac CT examinations.
  • Experience operating NAEOTOM Alpha Peak and Philips Brilliance iCT 256 CT scanners.
