Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: NYC, NY
Duration: 03 months Contract
Schedule: Monday-Friday 12am-8am. OVERNIGHT
Hourly rate: $68/hour on W2 (Negotiable)
Duties- Perform CT procedures using appropriate kV and mA techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Perform daily quality control (QC) and calibration checks on CT equipment before patient studies.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals/contrast agents according to physician orders and prescribed protocols.
- Complete required department documentation, including logs, manuals, charge documents, and equipment issue reports.
- Perform quality control, quality assurance, and radiation safety testing while following the ALARA principle.
- Maintain, develop, and retrieve patient films and electronic imaging records for Radiologist interpretation.
- Order patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses one day prior to use.
- Receive and verify radiopharmaceutical deliveries according to department policies and procedures.
- Verify the activity level/dose of radiopharmaceuticals before administration.
- Follow all applicable radiology, radiation safety, and regulatory requirements.
Skills & Responsibilities- Perform CT examinations according to established protocols to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Assess and respond appropriately to patient needs before, during, and after procedures.
- Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and maintain patient safety throughout examinations.
- Work effectively in an overnight radiology environment.

Requirements- CT Certified
- Injection Certified
- Position may also require X-ray duties during the overnight shift.
