- Weekend Requirements: Friday: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM at Anschutz Childrens (Aurora); Saturday/Sunday: 6:30 PM 7:00 AM at South Campus (Highlands Ranch)
- OnCall: 2 call shifts per month
- Float Requirement: Up to 35 miles from original assignment location
Responsibilities:
- Produce diagnosticquality images with accurate anatomy and pathology
- Manage patient flow including urgent and STAT cases
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams
- Maintain competency with RIS, EMR, and PACS
- Safely administer contrast and verify clinical necessity
- Follow quality and safety standards (Joint Commission, ACR)
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology program
- ARRT (R) Radiologic Technologist
- ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography Technologist
- BLS (AHA)
- Minimum 3 years imaging experience
- Pediatric experience required (must be clearly documented in work history)
- Skilled in highquality pediatric diagnostic imaging
- Knowledge of ALARA principles and radiation safety
- Proficient in CT physics, dose reduction, and Image Gently Campaign
- Experience with IV placement, vascular access, and managing extravasation
Additional Information:
- New travelers will be considered
- CT and XRay performed within the same shift
- No RTO approved during first 2 weeks of assignment
- Flu Vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
