Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Neptune, New Jersey


Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift Details:

  • Evening / Overnight Hybrid Shift
  • Typical Hours: 12:00 PM – 10:30 PM or 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM
  • Schedule: 4x10 Hour Shifts
  • Weekend Requirement: Yes
  • Holiday Requirement: 1 Holiday
  • On-Call: Not Required
  • Floating: Not Required

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join a high-acuity imaging department within a Level I Trauma Center and Stroke Center environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical CT expertise, excellent patient care abilities, and the capacity to perform efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced CT imaging procedures and produce high-quality diagnostic and 3D reconstructed images
  • Obtain and review patient history and ensure accurate documentation in PACS and EPIC systems
  • Conduct contrast screening and patient/family education regarding procedures
  • Administer IV contrast and monitor for adverse reactions
  • Verify physician orders and communicate with radiologists regarding protocol appropriateness
  • Perform venipuncture, IV access, and patient preparation
  • Ensure correct patient positioning, shielding, and radiation safety practices
  • Review imaging studies for quality assurance and proper identification in PACS
  • Coordinate retrieval and uploading of external imaging into PACS/EPIC
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols
  • Provide compassionate care across diverse patient populations and acuity levels

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of full-time CT Technologist experience
  • Experience in Level I Trauma and Stroke Center environments required
  • Strong clinical communication and patient care skills
  • Proficiency in anatomy, CT imaging systems, positioning, and PACS

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of CT Technologist experience preferred
  • Experience with EPIC and other RIS/HIS systems
  • ARRT (CT) certification preferred

Education Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Certifications & Licensure:

  • Active New Jersey DEP Diagnostic Radiography License
  • ARRT (R) Certification required
  • BLS (American Heart Association) certification required
  • ARRT (CT) certification preferred or must be obtained within 12 months of hire
