Job Description Summary The Computed Tomography Technologist (CT) reports to the CT supervisor of CT and manager of radiology. Under general supervision, the CT Technologist performs high quality CT examinations in accordance with established protocols on patient populations ranging from neonate through geriatrics for interpretation by a physician. Job Description The Computed Tomography Technologist (CT) reports to the CT supervisor of CT and manager of radiology. Under general supervision, the CT Technologist performs high quality CT examinations in accordance with established protocols on patient populations ranging from neonate through geriatrics for interpretation by a physician. Other duties as deemed necessary.

Additional Job Description Education: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology. Work Experience: 0-2 years of modality specific experience.

Registration Certifications: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). ARRT CT Registration required within 1 year in position.

Licensure Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers or AHA recognized equivalent or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
