Location: Gainesville, Florida
Pay Range: $29.56–$36.95/hour DOE + $25,000 Sign-On Bonus

Available shift opportunities include:

  • Evenings: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM (Friday–Sunday)
  • Mixed Shifts: 10+ hour rotating weekend schedules
  • Days: 10+ hour weekend-only shifts
  • Nights: 10+ hour rotating weekend schedules

Position Overview

A leading healthcare organization is seeking a skilled and patient-focused CT Technologist to perform high-quality Radiology and Computed Tomography (CT) imaging procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role requires strong technical expertise, independent judgment, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and safety.

The technologist will work with patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatric populations, while ensuring diagnostic image quality and compliance with radiation safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Imaging & Diagnostic Procedures

  • Perform CT and Radiology imaging procedures with minimal supervision
  • Operate imaging equipment safely and accurately using prescribed ionizing radiation
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation
  • Apply technical expertise and independent judgment during imaging exams
  • Ensure proper patient positioning and adherence to imaging protocols

Patient Care & Safety

  • Prepare and educate patients regarding imaging procedures
  • Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout examinations
  • Deliver compassionate care to patients of all age groups
  • Follow radiation safety and infection control guidelines
  • Respond appropriately in urgent or emergent situations

Equipment & Quality Control

  • Maintain imaging equipment and report malfunctions as necessary
  • Support departmental quality assurance and safety standards
  • Assist in maintaining efficient workflow and organized imaging areas

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required

Experience

  • Minimum one (1) year of CT experience required
  • Acute care experience not required

Licensure & Certifications

  • Florida Registered Radiologic Technologist license required
  • BLS certification required within 30 days of employment
  • ARRT Registered Radiographer (R) preferred
  • ARRT CT Certification preferred

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations
