Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM


Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join a fast-paced imaging department for a 13-week assignment in Raleigh, NC. The CT Technologist will perform high-quality computed tomography procedures while ensuring patient safety, accurate imaging, and excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT scans according to physician orders and departmental imaging protocols
• Verify patient identity, obtain patient history, and explain procedures clearly to patients and families
• Position patients appropriately and acquire diagnostic-quality CT images
• Perform image manipulation, multi-planar reconstruction, and 3D imaging as required
• Administer oral and IV contrast safely following established protocols
• Review patient lab values and determine contrast eligibility prior to injections
• Establish IV access and monitor patients for reactions to contrast media
• Maintain accurate documentation and image transfer through PACS, EPIC, EMR, and QC systems
• Complete and manage imaging orders accurately while ensuring proper billing documentation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist with workflow management and support training of new staff and students as needed
Required Qualifications:
• Completion of an accredited Radiological Science program required
• ARRT certification or registry eligibility required
• Advanced CT certification required
• Registry-eligible candidates must obtain certification within one year of employment
• Current BLS certification required
• Prior CT imaging experience and strong technical knowledge required
The ideal candidate will possess excellent patient care skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume clinical environment.
