Position Title: CT Technologist
Location: Obispo, CA 93405
Duration: 13 weeks (Possible extension)
Work Schedule: Day Shift | 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM 7:30 PM)
Pay rate:
$70.00 - $75.00 /hr.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:- Perform CT examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.
- Produce cross-sectional, sagittal, and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
- Perform general X-ray procedures and assist with fluoroscopy as needed during assigned shifts.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety.
- Use PACS and teleradiology systems to accurately transfer and archive images.
- Maintain accurate patient records, imaging documentation, and billing information.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality regulations.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance, quality control checks, and supply inventory management.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.
- Participate in on-call coverage as assigned.
To be considered for this position, you should have: [Skills, Education, or Experience]- ARRT certification in Radiography and CT [R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT)]
- Current California Radiologic Technologist (RT) license
- Current Fluoroscopy license
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 3 years of CT experience
- X-ray experience required
- Willingness to cover general radiography duties during shifts as needed.
- EPIC experience required
- Experience with Philips CT systems required
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology.
- Advanced CT certification preferred.
- Venipuncture certification preferred.
