Responsibilities:
* Perform high-quality CT scans, ensuring accurate images for diagnosis
* Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to determine optimal imaging procedures
* Maintain patient safety through adherence to aseptic techniques and radiation safety protocols
* Prepare patients for imaging procedures, addressing any concerns or questions they may have
* Operate and maintain CT equipment, troubleshooting issues as needed
* Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records
* Provide imaging support in emergency situations, including ER and trauma center settings
* Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and best practices
Qualifications:
* Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with a focus on CT imaging
* Experience performing CT scans
* Proficiency in aseptic techniques and safety protocols related to medical imaging
* Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, particularly in a busy outpatient imaging setting
