Join Our Team as a CT Technologist and Make a Difference in Healthcare
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team at the Syracuse VA Medical Center. This vital role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care while working in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a key member of our imaging team, you will perform advanced CT procedures, ensuring accurate diagnostics and exceptional patient service. This position provides a competitive hourly pay rate of $60.00, with an additional blended rate of $62.40/hour inclusive of 11 paid federal holidays, along with comprehensive benefits and support.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
- ARRT certification with CT specialization
- BLS certification
- Proficiency in operating CT imaging equipment and protocols
- Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Additional certifications in radiologic technology
- Experience working in a hospital or medical center setting
- Knowledge of advanced imaging techniques and software
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with CT specialization
- Prior experience in a healthcare facility, preferably in a hospital environment
Other Requirements:
- Valid licensure and certification in radiologic technology
- Ability to work 8-hour day shifts, five days per week
- Willingness to work at Syracuse VA Medical Center from April 5, 2026, to October 4, 2026, with potential for renewal
- Travel and other reimbursements applicable when necessary
