Job Summary and Qualifications
The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of the ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards. The CT Technologist provides high-quality computerized tomography images of the used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities:
• Compassionately assist and position patients on CT table. • Start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary. • Assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary. • Release customers with proper post-procedure instructions. • Turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean, sterilize equipment. • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
Qualifications:
• Prefer Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or Prefer degree in Radiology Technology. • Must be Registered ARRT with RTRCT CT registration required. • BCLS required upon hire. • Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning. • On Call Required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 45 minutes of call back. • Must be able to work rotating weekends and holiday.
