- 16 Hours per Day
Compensation
- Pay Rate: $60 – $85/hour

Position Overview
A healthcare facility in Manhattan, New York is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a contract assignment. The technologist will perform CT imaging procedures, maintain imaging quality standards, and provide safe, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced radiology environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT procedures according to prescribed imaging protocols
- Utilize appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure quality diagnostic images
- Conduct daily quality control and calibration checks on CT equipment
- Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain ALARA compliance
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Maintain accurate patient imaging records and department documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to support quality patient care
- Monitor equipment functionality and report issues as needed
Qualifications
- Active New York State License (L.R.T.) required
- ARRT Certification in Radiography and CT required
- Current BLS Certification required
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program preferred
