What You'll Do:
As a CT Technologist, you will perform high-quality computed tomography procedures with precision and care. You'll work closely with physicians, patients, and your healthcare team to ensure accurate imaging that aids in diagnosing and treating patients. Your role is vital in delivering exceptional patient outcomes and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of radiology experience, with demonstrated proficiency in CT imaging
- Certification in ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining procedures and collaborating effectively with staff and patients
- Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations with professionalism
- Detail-oriented with excellent multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and radiation safety protocols
- Competent in quality control testing per ACR and manufacturer standards
Nice to Have Skills:
- In-depth understanding of patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection
- Experience with Epic or other EHR systems
- Additional certifications or specialized training in advanced imaging techniques
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Accredited Radiologic Technology Program completion
- Over 1 year of clinical radiology experience with a focus on CT procedures
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to obtain necessary certifications if not already held
- Ability to work the night shift (Sunday-Tuesday, 7 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Compliance with all hospital policies, protocols, and professional standards
- Must be willing to undertake RTO requests with a 3-day limit and a block scheduling requirement
